Discover the medieval village of Le Castellet and the small port of Cassis. You Will be able to taste few vintages in 2 wineries .

Le Castellet

The village of Castellet is one of the tourist highlights of the Var. Perched on a wooded hill above the vineyards, this picturesque walled village offers an exceptional panoramic view towards the massif of La Sainte-Baume. Inside Castellet’s well preserved ramparts, you will be able to stroll around its cobbled streets and visit many art and craft workshops.

Bandol

Then, you will go to Bandol’s region and discover its wines and winery. With a surface area of over 1480 ha, the Appellation’s terroir is concentrated in 8 municipalities of the Var. Sheltered by the massif of La Sainte-Baume to the north, which rises to 1147m, the Bandol winery descends in terraces towards the sea surrounded by majestic wooded hills. This winery produces high quality wines that can be found on the best gastronomic tables: red wine, rosé wine and white wine. You will have the opportunity to talk with a winemaker and taste his wares…

Afterwards, you will leave for the charming coastal village of Cassis. It is situated in a natural Calanque (Cove) between pine forests, white and ochre rocks and vineyards which stretch to the Mediterranean Sea. Cassis is protected by two natural monuments which are the Cap Canaille that glows red when the Mistral blows and the white limestone of the Calanques (Coves).
