To choose the historic landmarks and cultural sites that you want to discover, your itinerary for the day will depend on your personal interests in this deep and fascinating history. The first stop will be the synagogue of Cavaillon, rebuilt in 1772, very well decorated in Provencal setting. Next, we’ll drive down to the highest point in Marseille for the breathtaking, 360° view of the city and its coastline. We’ll drive along the coast road for more views of the cliffs and beaches and then into the heart of the city to see the extraordinary Palais Longchamp, the Old Port and the oldest neighborhood in France, the Panier. Throughout your tour you can choose to focus on Jewish heritage monuments, explore hidden historic corners, or hear captivating stories about the region’s diverse cultural legacy. There is so much to see and learn in a short time, and if you have any special request you have only to let your guide know. At the conclusion of your 4-hour tour, you will be brought back to your starting point with a profound new perspective on Provence.
