Take a stroll through the narrow and unusual streets of Aix-en-Provence

 

during which I will reveal the history and secrets of this timeless city.

 

Get ready to be enchanted as you wander through the narrow streets steeped in history and poetry so delicate you can almost hear the troubadours.

 

In this labyrinth of little streets and dozens of fountains, we’ll meet craftsmen and discover their Provençal specialities.

 

We’ll also discover one of the Provencal markets. A delicious selection of specialities such as the calisson, a confection made from a fine paste of candied melon and crushed almonds, covered in royal icing and placed on a base of unleavened bread, will be sampled along the way!

 

We’ll pass intact buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries and even Roman baths dating from the 1st century AD.
